The Shoot Out 24 Hour Filmmaking Festival is the most extreme filmmaking festival in the world.
This is the film festival where filmmakers come together in one place to make a short film in 24 hours.
The Shoot Out 24 Hour Filmmaking Festival was an innovative event created by Kristi Street. It grew in popularity with almost 200 teams (2,000 people) running around Newcastle making films. It operated in in Newcastle, Toowomba, Geelong and Fox Studios Australia, New Zealand, The Netherlands and Boulder, Colorado USA. The Shoot Out was established as a unique festival attracting people to the city of Newcastle to experience the cities potential for tourism, business and the Film Industry opportunities.
Kristi was producer and festival director responsible for funding, sponsorship, marketing, promotion, website, online promotion and production of video content.
